Spool Position Monitored Directional Valve Series

TAI-HUEI spool position monitored directional valves (HD-***-DL-P) are wet-armature solenoid directional valves with a built-in spool position switch. The switch confirms that the spool has actually shifted.

When the spool reaches the set stroke point, output A (normally closed) opens and output B (normally open) closes. This on/off signal goes straight to a PLC for safety interlocking: if the spool has not shifted, the next machine step is not released. Switching point tolerance ≤ 0.5 mm. The trigger point is set and checked at the TAI-HUEI factory before shipment.

Supply voltage 18–24 V DC (±10%), IP67, stainless steel housing. Sizes G02, G03, G04 and G06.

Typical applications: hydraulic circuits where the spool position must be confirmed before the next motion is allowed, such as safety interlock circuits and end-position confirmation on presses and large machinery.

The valve provides a spool position signal. The safety level of the complete machine is assessed by the machine designer for the whole circuit.

AB Series: Manual Positioning / Flow Adjustment Type

TAI-HUEI AB series valves are wet-armature solenoid directional valves fitted with adjusting screws on side A, side B or both sides. The valve is still shifted by the solenoid. There is no hand lever; it is not a lever-operated manual valve.

G02 and G03 are positioning types: turning the adjusting screw pushes the spool into position. The adjusting nut is anodized aluminum alloy, resists dust and rust, and does not affect the magnetic output. It is turned by hand, no tools needed. G02 and G03 are not intended for flow adjustment.

G04 and G06 are flow adjustment types: the adjusting screw has a special thread for fine adjustment. It is made of special steel with high-frequency hardening, and its square end can be turned with a standard tool.

Adjustment side: A, B or AB. Flow rate and maximum operating pressure are the same as the standard solenoid valve of the same size. Sizes G02, G03, G04 and G06.
